She is the star of the show, so Jennifer Lopez made sure she owned it at the American Idol finale.

For the event in Hollywood, the superstar shone in her sparkling long-sleeved gown. She even matched the embellished dress with sequin shoes also in a golden hue; she couldn't have put in a much more glittering display.

J-Lo chose a high-low hem dress by YAS Couture for the finals, a Lebanese fashion brand worn previously by the likes of Carrie Underwood and Joanna Krupa.

The piece's dipped hem helped show off J-Lo's toned pins and added a hint of sex appeal to the glamorous number.
